Thanks Paul. We’ve fixed the scoreboard error and tightened up some of the commentary in the latest version. There’s more to come on the commentary side in upcoming releases too.

On the victory text… while you’re technically correct, we’re keeping this for the moment because it’s easier for non-cricketers to understand quickly. We’ll be working on a system to have the best of both worlds though.

Thanks for reporting on those Jake. We’re working on a new website and since 99.3% of our pageviews are on the iPhone version, we haven’t been spending as much time as perhaps we should keeping the desktop version clean.

I’ll schedule some time to sort them out but in the meantime, just use your iPhone/iPod :)

Hi,

Noticed a couple of issues when logging into the website:

1. When you click on the ‘My Profile’ section, the information is displayed within two curly brackets.

2. When clicking on the ‘My Team’ section, only two curly brackets are displayed.

Hi Rj,

I don’t know if a problem I have is related but thought I would report it anyway!

1. Nearly every time I start a match, I cannot tap on the ‘Tap to continue box’ – I have to wait until this goes away before I can start the game. If that happens, then I can never play the first shot of the innings – I always end up ‘leaving the ball’.

2. For most of the longer matches (eg 10 or 20 overs), I find that the game hangs at the final dialogue box which says ‘Victory’ or ‘Defeat’ and I cannot continue to see the scorecard etc. The short matches seem to be fine.

However, just wanted to say that it was great to see that the scores are being submitted now – I had stopped playing the game because I couldn’t see how I was rating against everyone else!!

Im having problems with startup. Every menu takes approx 5-10 seconds to take effect. The biggest problem is that any level i select against any opposition, the target is always 29 in 6 overs.

Wrong Batsmen Out

I found this thread about run outs (https://cricket.spinfast.com.au/forum/thread/194) and the wrong batsmen being given out, but I’m experiencing the issue with catches.

So far I’ve found that when no runs are attempted it works correctly (that’d be a pretty obvious bug), and when an even number of runs are attempted it works too. When the non-striker is running towards the batting end, he is given out instead. Thus I figure it’s giving out whoever is running to the striker’s end.

I’m having the same issue, but I’m also having trouble getting a diagnostic report through. How long should it take for one to send? (I realise it depends on the network, so just a rule of thumb)

I’m having the same issue. It’s interesting that it only came up once I’d removed and reinstalled when trying to fix the lag bug and the bowling freezing bugs.

Does that mean it’s a problem with fresh installs and not updates?

Hi,

In the updated version the target for batting only is always 49. It used to change according to my score in the previous game.

Can this be fixed please.

Since the update, the touch screen is all messed up and each time I start a game, the opposition’s score is 99. Please fix this.

Hi Matt,

A few people are having this. Some have reported that it comes and goes, helped quitting the game and immediately re-loading it.

We uploaded a new version to Apple last week, hopefully it will be approved soon.

I am having a few problems with v2.2. First when you start it up it takes about 30 seconds to load up the main menu, and second it picks up your gesture like 10 seconds after you tap or swipe it.

I just want to know if anybody else is having the same problem as me because it’s really confusing?!
