I had to backup and restore my iPhone to unlock it from a provider. In the process I lost my application data, eg other games saved points. I have also lost my bowling add on. If I try to buy it now it looks like it’ll charge me again. How can I get the bowling add on back? Thanks, Trav.
Just purchase it again; we don’t charge you the second time.
I know it seems a little clunky but the way Apple has set up the system, we can’t tell if you’ve already purchased it until we try to charge you for it. So, the interface has to ask you if you’re sure you want to buy it, then when it realises that you already have, it will just download it for free and not take any money.
Just make sure you’re using the same AppleID is all you have to do.
