Delivery Numbering

In our latest version we made a change to the way that we number deliveries. Previously, we displayed the number of deliveries that had happened, so the first ball was 0.0 but in the new version we display the number of the delivery that is about to happen, which means we start at 1.1 — this change seemed sensible at the time but I’ve received a few complaints about, so I’d like to get some more feedback as to which way everyone would prefer it to be.

What do you think?

I feel it should start 0.1, over 2 should be 1.1.
Don’t know what everyone else thinks?
Or have I over complicated matters. No pun intended.

It should definitely start 0.0 and 1.0 at the end of each over- I thought it was a glitch when I first noticed it- change it back please

I noticed the change in delivery numbering and while it took a while to get use to it, I am quite happy with the new system. In watching cricket on the TV, I think they display it as what has been bowled. It would be good if you could change the delivery number after the shot has been played – even while the batsmen are running maybe. Just a thought.
